| Asia's
Tsunami |
| The sea a cemetery
was when lives were swept away The death of innocents we mourn more than our words can say Echoes of fear and grief resound throughout a trembling world The Tsunami claimed so many lives when its black waves unfurled Now Asia's plight bears anguished tones from thousands left alone When Loved ones quickly were consumed when waves claimed all they'd known When horror description defies and blackness surrounds all A reflection of turbulent minds Into Love's hearts will fall A tragedy beyond our words buried in destruction's scenes Is now the time for us to hear what all this subtly means? It's time all conflict to resolve this we must surely do Lest ere each other we can kill Nature ends her life, too. |
