Broken Promises

When broken promises
leave my heart betrayed
and Love and trust
both slowly fade
In an ocean of dreams
I'll again set sail
knowing truth within
shall always prevail

When tallies are done
and days are all counted
a soulful gathering
sees Love still undaunted
May it be His will
that both you and I there
vanish the heartache
of sorrow and despair

Deeply I search
in God's ray of sun
when He beckons home
His creation as One
The day will be glorious
when there I find you
in the Oneness of One
where all Love grew.
