WOODEN BEADS

I have a string of wooden beads
I count them day by day
memories of many prayers
and blessings along the way

Each bead quite faded and worn
a treasure bestowed on me
tiny wooden beads of old
have opened my eyes to see

Given with Love I hold them dear
HIS essence lingers in each
wooden beads to touch my heart
where prayers and blessings reach

I have some wooden beads
threaded lightly on a string
the beads of happiness in my heart
is the melody I strive to bring

If one day you wish to borrow
these lovely beads of old
perhaps you have a prayer to give
each bead would gladly hold

In the spirit in which they were given
I offer the beads to you
may all your days be filled with Love
new hope and blessings to.
